GOD NEED YOU TO SURVIVE PART 3
Updated: Nov 25, 2019
I’m a sinner does God love me and why?
Yes God loves you, the Bible says He loved the world;
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).
This shows the depth of God’s love for us, that He was willing to give His only Son into the hands of sinful men that he might be slain, and redeem them from eternal sorrow. Does this mean that God approved the sinful conduct of men? No, God hates sin, but loves the sinner, and still desires the happiness of those who are sinful." A parent may love his child and desire his welfare, and yet be strongly opposed to the conduct of that child. When we approve the sinful conduct of another, this complacent love; when we desire their happiness, this is the love of benevolence.
God's love for us was giving up His Son for the world. “God so loved the world.” God having given Him to be our Prophet, Priest, and King, we must give up ourselves to be ruled, and taught, and saved by Him. And here is the great gospel benefit, “that whoever believes in Christ, shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.” God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, and saving it, only through Him it could be saved and salvation received.
God created man in His own image (Genesis 1:27; see Matthew 19:4; Mark 10:6), why would He destroy His own creation? He loved us enough to send His Son (Jesus Christ) to die for our sins.
Have you ever contemplated suicide or know of someone who have committed suicide? A family member or friend who have left this world by their own hands, because they couldn’t cope with the vicissitudes of life. When using the word “vicissitudes” it refers to the difficult times that we all go throughout some time in our lives;
1. hurt by a spouse’s
2. infidelity in a marriage
3. raped
4. abused
5. bullied
6. loss of job
7. fired
8. forced into a sinful lifestyle
9. sickness
10. drug addiction
11. alcoholism
12. broken relationship
13. depression
14. guilt
These things no one should have to go through, but many have experienced such hardship. But you have a choice, continue in these situation or come out by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and choosing to follow Him you place Jesus on the throne of your life. Spiritually, you become a new person because God's Holy Spirit comes to live within you. Jesus described this experience as being "born again." And, best of all, with your new life in Christ comes the right to spend eternity in God's presence. Why not get a Bible right now and read these wonderful promises for yourself? these situations
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). Through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you can experience overflowing love, forgiveness, peace, and joy in your life. That is a promise from God in the Bible.
Does God promise that you'll never have another problem? No. But He has given us His Word (Bible) to face life's trials with confidence, knowing that He will cause all things to work for your good. He promises either to deliver you from afflictions, or give you the strength to endure them, according to His plan for you ... a plan that begins with giving your life to Him.
For, "Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
There is not one God to the Jews, more kind, and another to the Gentiles, who is less kind; the Lord is a Father to all men. The promise is the same to all, who call on the name of the Lord Jesus as the Son of God, as God manifest in the flesh. All believers who call upon the Lord Jesus, and none else will do so humbly or sincerely. But how should any call on the Lord Jesus, the Divine Saviour, who had not heard of him? And what is the life of a Christian but a life of prayer? It shows that we feel our dependence on Him, and are ready to give up ourselves to Him, and have a believing expectation of our all from Him. It was necessary that the gospel should be preached to the Gentiles. Somebody must show them what they are to believe. How to welcome the gospel ought to be to those to whom it was preached! The gospel is given, not only to be known and believed, but to be obeyed. It is not a system of notions, but a rule of practice.
The beginning, progress, and strength of faith is by hearing. But it is only hearing the Word, as the Word of God that will strengthen faith.
